A home away from home for your cat
Established over 27 years ago, Colbeg Cattery offers years of experience & the best in cat boarding for customers across Glasgow and surrounding areas. We are a small, family run cattery based on our farm near Torrance. Your cat’s health & well-being is our priority. We hope that you will be so delighted with the care provided at our cattery that you will bring your cat back to holiday with us over and over again.
Our prices include:
We do not charge for the day the cat is going home. Payment is due on collection; we accept cash & cards.
Pop in and see us!
We have set opening for customers bringing in cats, collecting cats and for viewings (please see viewings section). Our electric gates will be closed outside of these times to ensure no disruption is made to the cats staying with us and for the security of the property.
Monday – Saturday: 10am – 12pm & 4.30pm – 5pm
Sunday: 3pm - 5pm
Viewings take place within our opening times but you do not need to ring ahead to arrange a viewing.
We are open 365 days a year (closed for drop off & pick up on Christmas Day & Boxing Day as well as New Years Day & 2nd January).
The most important part of the day
We supply Iams Dry Food also Whiskas & Felix (as good as it looks) sachets. This is included in the daily rate. On your arrival day, we will fill in a booking form which asks for feeding requirements of your cat.
We aim to offer a more personalised service to each of our cats including continuing the cat’s same feeding routine as they have at home. If your cat is on a special diet please feel free to bring it with them. Please don’t think you will shock us with your cat's preferred food from home the likes of chicken, prawns, tuna, etc. The cattery has its own kitchen with fridge and freezer facilities so you can be assured we can serve any meat/fish you supply fresh and to your cat’s exact requirements.
Health
Every cat that stays with us MUST be up to date with their vaccinations and the cat’s vaccination booklet will be kept with us until the cat leaves. Boosters must be given at least two weeks before arriving at the cattery.
As long as your vet is happy for the cat to come into a cattery & for us to continue to administer their medication we will be happy to do so. The only exceptions being any contagious conditions or injectable medications.
PLEASE READ OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOARDING BEFORE BOOKING.
